This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the app’s features (such as text translation, OCR image translation, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech between Hindi, English, and tribal languages like Bhili, Gondi, Mundari, Santali, OCR image translation, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech). By creating an account and using our services, you agree to the practices described below.
Name and Email Address you provide to create and maintain your account.
Any text you type or paste into the app for translation (e.g., Hindi sentences to translate into Gondi, or vice versa).
If you use the camera or gallery to provide an image for text recognition and translation, the image (and the text extracted from it) is sent for processing. We access the camera or storage only to get the image you select for OCR translation.
If you use the microphone for speech input, your voice recording is captured to convert speech to text (and possibly translate it). The microphone is accessed only for capturing your speech when you use this feature.
If you enter text to convert into spoken audio, that text is processed to generate speech audio output.
Your ratings, comments, and corrections to outputs (e.g., translation quality reviews) that you submit in the app.
We use the input text, image, or audio you submit to generate the translated text, recognized text (from images or speech), or synthesized speech output that you request.
To create and maintain your account, authenticate you, and provide customer support.
We store certain user inputs and your reviews/feedback to improve the accuracy and quality of our translation, OCR, and speech models and to enhance product features. Where feasible, we apply de-identification (e.g., removing direct identifiers) before using data to improve models.
To protect against misuse and to comply with applicable laws.
We do not sell, share, or disclose your content to advertisers or unrelated third parties.
Processing runs on servers operated by us. If we use supporting infrastructure providers (e.g., hosting), they are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only to provide the contracted services.
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights. We limit such disclosures to what is legally necessary.
When you use a feature (translation, OCR, speech input, etc.), your data is transmitted securely to our servers, where our AI models process it.
Account Data (Name & Email): Stored to operate your account until you delete it.User Inputs & Reviews/Feedback: We may retain portions of your submitted text, images, audio (or derived text), and your reviews/feedback for model improvement, quality assurance, and service enhancement. Where feasible, we de-identify this data before use.Operational Logs/Technical Metadata: May be retained for diagnostics, security, and service reliability.
Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Object to or request restriction of processing of your data for model improvement. We will honor such requests where required and feasible.
You can revoke permissions (camera, microphone, storage) in your device settings at any time.
All data exchanged between your device and our servers is protected via HTTPS/TLS.
Account data and any retained inputs/feedback are stored using safeguards that include encryption at rest where appropriate.
Only authorized personnel with a legitimate need can access data for service operation, support, or improvement. We monitor our systems for vulnerabilities and apply security updates.
